Artistic Academy does NOT close for the summer. Our programs run year round; so you can join classes at any time, provided they are not filled.
Day Camps:
Summer is the time for Artistic Academy's Day Camps. These start in June and run every Friday through August. We try to have activities that the students have indicated an interest in, but schedules don't firm up until spring, so check with the office then for exact dates and times. Past activities have included:
- Arts & Crafts
- Movies
- Dance
- Gymnastics / Tumbling
- Cheerleading
- Volleyball
- Scavenger Hunts
- Dodge Ball
- Padded Sword Fighting - includes construction.
- The Raptor Recovery Group - Showing several interesting birds
- Daffy the Clown - Face painting and magic
- Henry Doorly Zoo - Bringing in some small animals

2008 AmeriKids Nationals
Another season comes to a close with the AmeriKids Nationals now behind us. Congratulations to all the fine gymnasts that participated.
Artistic Students, now is the time to apply yourselves to learning new skills for next season. Get outdoors and play, do some strength and conditioning exercises, keep training and remember to have fun while you are doing it. Always strive to be the best you can be. We look forward to seeing you in the gym.
